Roasted cauliflower recipe

 

Tumeric, also known as curcuma, is a bright yellow orange spice with many health benefits. It is extremely rich in Vitmin C and calcium and is an anti-oxidant and has proven anti-inflammatory qualities which has the potential to prevent heart disease, Alzheimer’s and cancer.

Cut the cauliflower as you desire and place them in a large mixing bowl with minced garlic. In a small mixing bowl combine 2 tbs olive oil, turmeric, cumin and salt and pepper and stir. Drizzle the mixture over the cauliflower. Roast in the oven for 25 minutes or until the cauliflower is tender and starting to brown on the ends.  Serve warm with mix of fresh cilantro, 1 tbsp of olive oil and lime juice.
