Wheatgrass juice
So what is wheatgrass? Wheatgrass are the first sprouted leaves of wheat grains, harvested before it reaches full size, typically 7-10 days after sprouting, made from the Triticum aestivum plant.
Organic wheatgrass is considered a superfood due to its many health benefits such as the high amounts of living chlorophyll. It may help reduce inflammation, build blood, energises, detoxes, and is believed to help prevent and slow cancer growth.
Wheatgrass may also improve blood sugar circulation (however the most conclusive studies have been on animals rather than humans) and lower bad cholesterol.
I personally use wheatgrass every now and then with my breakfast as it helps to support a healthy liver function, get rid of toxins and digestion.
And you may find it also useful to know that wheatgrass is used to improve the respiratory function, soothing a sore throat and getting rid of acne.
Since it has so many health benefits it may not come as a surprise that it is being used by patients who have undergone chemo to combat the negative side effects and beyond.
